We trade online only. We do not operate a shop, a showroom or a public counter, and we are unable to receive visitors. All enquiries, including returns and complaints, are handled by email. Further address details are provided by appointment, or on reasonable request by email to the address above.

VAT and tax registration

hannari is a sole proprietorship registered in Japan and is not registered for VAT in the European Union or the United Kingdom. We therefore have no EU or UK VAT number, and no VAT is charged by us at checkout.

All items are shipped from Japan. Import VAT, customs duties and any carrier handling fees are assessed by the destination country at the time of import and are payable by the buyer. Please see our Shipping policy.

Company registration number

Not applicable. Under Japanese law a sole proprietorship is not a registered company and has no company registration number.

What we sell

We sell authenticated pre-owned luxury goods. Every item is second-hand and is described individually, including its condition. Our FAQ explains how we grade condition and how we authenticate.

Applicable law

Contracts concluded through this website are governed by the laws of Japan, as set out in our Terms of service. This does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the consumer law of your country of residence. In particular, consumers resident in the European Union and the United Kingdom keep their statutory right of withdrawal, which is set out in our Refund policy.

Complaints and dispute resolution

Please send any complaint directly to visitourwebsite@hannari-shop.com. We answer every complaint ourselves and aim to reply within three business days. We are not obliged to participate, and we do not participate, in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
