CHANEL raised prices again in September. Here is what changed.
In late September, CHANEL changed its U.S. prices for the second time this year. This round was narrow: it touched two newer bags, the Chanel 25 and the Souplissimo, and left the Classic Flap where it was after April.
Here are the numbers as PurseBlog reported them on September 23, in U.S. dollars.
Chanel 25
| Size | Start of 2026 | After April | After September |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | $6,100 | $6,300 | $6,600 |
| Small | $6,400 | $6,700 | $7,000 |
| Medium | $6,700 | $7,000 | $7,400 |
| Large | $7,300 | $7,500 | $8,100 |
Counted from January, that is between 8.2% (Mini) and 11.0% (Large) in nine months. The September step alone was about 4.5% to 8%.
Souplissimo
| Style | Before | After September |
|---|---|---|
| Mini Flap | $5,900 | $6,200 |
| Maxi Flap Small | $8,500 | $8,800 |
| Maxi Flap Large | $9,300 | $9,600 |
PurseBlog describes this as the first increase for the Souplissimo line.
And the Classic Flap?
The Classic Flap did not move in September. Its last change was on April 2, when the Medium went from $11,300 to $11,700 and the Small from $10,900 to $11,300.
What this means if you are choosing a bag
A boutique price is set in Paris and changes for every bag of a model at once. A pre-owned price works differently. Each bag is one piece, priced on its own age, leather, corners and hardware. Two black lambskin flaps from the same years can sit hundreds of dollars apart, and both prices can be fair.
That is why each of our listings carries its own year range and condition notes. If you are comparing, compare bag to bag.
We are not going to tell you what prices will do next. We can show you what is in front of you today.
Every bag at hannari is one of a kind, authenticated, and ships worldwide from Japan.
Prices quoted are U.S. retail prices as reported by PurseBlog on September 23, 2026 and March 31, 2026. Prices outside the U.S. are not covered here.
